English Class: Week 5-10 March

Conditionals
The clauses are two parts of a sentence, separated by a comma, that conform it (conditionals). For it there are rules that are the next ones:
Zero conditional degree: Both clauses have to be in simple present, and you have to be 90% sure that what you are saying it’s going to happen. One clause is the “if clause (condition)” where you put if and the verb or the action that you do, the other clause is called the “resolution clause” where you give the result of the last action.
First conditional degree: One clause has to be in simple present describing what happens and putting if, and the other one you put the simple future, will, and you put the base verb. The sentence in this conditional has to be a real possibility to happen.
Second conditional degree: This sentence is unreal possibility or dream. We are still thinking about the future, and giving the result to the conditional but it is very difficult that happens, or can be a dream too that if happen something you do what you dream, for example, if I win the lottery, I travel to Europe. You have to put the condition with the “if” and the simple past, and the result clause you put “would” and the base verb.
Third conditional degree: With the third conditional we talk about the past, we talk about a condition in the past that don’t happen, so that means that there is no possibility. For make a sentence with third conditional you put the condition with the “if” and the past perfect in one clause and in the other one you put “would have” and past participle, to talk about the impossible past result.

In the class we are going to view the blogger creations. This divide in topics
The definition: A blog 1 is a personal journal published on the World Wide Web consisting of discrete entries typically displayed in reverse chronological order so the most recent post appears first. Blogs are usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often are themed on a single subject. Blog can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic.
The blogs divide in some types of blogs that it’s so important to the create of this for example:
Personal blog: A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic.in this text you express yourself whit text images videos etc….
By genre: this blogs are from specifically sublet, blogs, quizzing blogs and legal blogs (often referred to as blows) or dream logs. his blog is for special
By device: blogs, quizzing blogs and legal blogs (often referred to as blows) or dream logs Blogs can also be defined by which type of device is used to compose it. A blog written by a mobile device like a mobile phone or PDA could be called a mob-log
This types of blog are so important¡¡¡¡¡

PROPORTION:

The homotecias are joined with an interesting topic called the proportion. More than joined to the topic is a property of the homotecias, without proportion there’s no homotecia. So, what is the proportion?
The proportion: A proportion is a name we give to a statement that two ratios are equal. It can be written in two ways:
  • two equal fractions,
Or,
  •   a:b = c:d

To check that between two ratios is a proportion you can do by many ways, there’s exactly 10 ways sometimes are easiest than other ways. The easiest way to find the proportion is to multiply the extremes and the medios  it had to show the same result.

When two ratios are equal, then the cross products of the ratios are equal.

That is, for the proportion, a:b = c:d ,  a x d = b x c

SIMILARITY:
Two geometrical objects are called similar if they both have the same shape. More precisely, either one is congruence. When there are two geometrical objects and don’t change his angles it calls similarity. It does not mean that the size had to be the same, it would be equally. In basic words it can change the form and the direction of the object but it cannot change his angles.

CARTESIAN COORDINATE SYSTEM:

A Cartesian coordinate system specifies each point uniquely in a plane by a pair of numerical coordinates, which are the signed distances from the point to two fixed perpendicular directed lines, measured in the same unit of length. Each reference line is called a coordinate axis or just axis of the system, and the point where they meet is its origin, usually at ordered pair (0, 0). The coordinates can also be defined as the positions of the perpendicular projections of the point onto the two axes, expressed as signed distances from the origin.
To find the coordinates you have to read the numbers inside the parenthesis, like: (1, 8)
You had to find the one in the (X) side, the horizontal side. Then you had to find the8 in the (Y) side, the vertical side.
It can be positive numbers ore negative numbers also, it depends on the symbol.

Social Studies: Week: 5-9 March

SOCIAL STUDIES:
In socials studies we see the sustainable development and we work in groups with different problematic that we see all the days. Also in this groups we work with (A.B.P) (Aprendizaje Basado en Preguntas)
First look what is a the sustainable development?
Sustainable development is a new term that grew out of the conservation/environmental movement of the 1970's. While the conservation/environmental movement asked questions about preserving the Earth's resources, sustainable development includes questions about how human decisions affect the Earth's environment.
Conventional: Sustainable development is about achieving the sustained economic growth needed to meet human needs, improve living standards, and provide the financial resources that make environmental protection possible.
Other is the Green development is generally differentiated from sustainable development in that Green development prioritizes what its proponents consider to be environmental sustainability over economic and cultural considerations. Proponents of Sustainable Development argue that it provides a context in which to improve overall sustainability where cutting edge Green development is unattainable. For example, a cutting edge treatment plant with extremely high maintenance costs may not be sustainable in regions of the world with fewer financial resources.
Responsibility for Environmental Problems
Conventional: Poverty is the primary cause of environmental problems. Because of lack of education and economic opportunities the poor have too many children and lack the sensitivity and resources to provide the care for their environment that wealthier people and countries do. Environmental quality is a low priority anon" people whose survival is in question. They will become concerned about and invest in environmental conservation only once a certain level of income is attained. Stimulating economic growth to increase employment opportunities and incomes must be the foundation of environmental protection.
